Things you will need:
- A ring which you are wearing presently and which perfectly fits you.
- A ruler or measuring tape.
Steps:
- Place your ring on the ruler or measuring tape.
- Measure the distance between the far ends of inner circle. This will give you the diameter of the ring.
Now, you have the diameter of your ring. There are many ring size charts available online. Order the ring size which is exactly same as the diameter you measured.
Method number 2
Things you will need:
- A strip of paper which is about half an inch wide and 6 inches long.
- A Pen or pencil
- A ruler or measuring tape
Steps:
- Simply wrap the strip of paper around the finger you wish to wear the ring on.
- Make a mark on the strip where two ends are meeting on overlapping.
- Now, put the strip on the ruler or measuring tape and measure the length.
The ring size charts that you will find online will even have ring sizes as per the circumference. Refer any one of charts and there you go.
Lastly, it is important to keep in mind that you take measurements when your body is at a normal temperature. It is observed that fingers tend to shrink when the body temperature is very cold. Next, usually our fingers are larger at knuckles and smaller at the base. If this is the case with you too, it is recommended to take two measurements and choose a size in between.
